yuletide letter 2025

Hello dear Yuletide writer! Thank you so much for writing for me. I hope you find something below that you're excited to write. I've given some general thoughts and sometimes specific ideas, but if you have something in mind already for the below characters, I'd love to see it!

I'm also happy to read unconventional formats... I generally don't enjoy 2nd person, but 1st person is fine, as is poetry, epistolary/documentary type fic, anything else creative you want to do. I'm open to most kinds of smut content... if it's not in my DNWs, go wild! Non-requested characters from canon are also very welcome to be as big a part of the story as you want.

Khemjira RPF: Tle, Firstone

Tle and FirstOne came out of nowhere and grabbed me by the throat while I was halfway through Khemjira and desperately looking for other related content. I watched their season of DMD Friendship and then I watched their vlogs and I was hooked. Their dynamic is so good: I love how Tle wooed FirstOne and how much FirstOne leans on him now as a steady presence.

Exceptions mentioned in my sign-up: I love both of them and their relationship, but FirstOne is my special boy so if you wanted to write a fic that's more focused on him, I'd also be thrilled with that! I also really enjoy his dynamic with Namping, and would enjoy something exploring that if that's where you're inspired. (And if you wanted to write about the full quartet of Tle, FirstOne, Namping, and Keng I would be delighted!)

A few ideas:
- What happened between the end of DMD Friendship and FirstOne finally choosing Tle as his partner? How did Tle continue to woo him? What made FirstOne finally decide?
- Anything about the complicated dynamic of being an official couple and navigating your actual feelings in the light of that. I love character bleed, "does he like me/do I like him or is it just our roles?", the need to make sure the professional relationship can weather whatever storms feelings bring... it's all so good!
- This is a little sideways from RPF but some of their music videos have great little stories and it would be very fun to read a fic based on one of them. I especially enjoy the neighbor prank war and the library magic boy stories, but if there's another one that inspires you, go for it! (This would be an exception to my DNW for non-celebrity AUs, since they kind of are playing different characters in the MVs.)
- Those Songkran snuggles! FirstOne was soooo clingy and I'd love an exploration of the feelings leading to/resulting from that (aside from the alcohol, lol.)


Khemjira: Khem, Pharan, Jet, Charn

Yeah, this show has me in a chokehold. I don't even know what to ask for except more... I love them all so much so I will be thrilled with anything you want to write, focusing on any combination of the main characters. I love Jet and Khem's ride-or-die friendship as much as I love both of the main ships, and I love how important all the relationships were to the story.
A few specific ideas, if you want any prompts:
- Khem deserves a make-up birthday celebration! Pharan passed out before he could do much but reiterate his promise, so I think they should get a late celebration after he recovers.
- Case fic of sorts... some ghosty thing that they have to deal with using all their respective skills.
- We never do see Khem finding out about Jet and Charn's relationship, and I would enjoy seeing how that happens. I could imagine Jet making a big deal about how to tell him and then finding out he figured it out ages ago (in fact a fic just of Khem noticing that his two best friends are definitely in love, all while they think they're keeping their distance, would be very fun). I could also imagine Khem being too preoccupied in the last few weeks to have caught on - whatever inspires you!
- Any further development of Jet and Charn's relationship, since we didn't see as much of that.
- I'd prefer a fic not focus on the adoption process and immediate new-parent experience, but I would love to see Uncle Jet getting to play with the twins. Maybe Jet and Charn babysit for a night and shenanigans ensue.

Also, Kachen was not nominated because he hadn't shown up by then, but I adore him as well. I'm so curious about his history with Pharan and with Jet! And I think someday when Charn and Jet are more secure, they could have some banger low-key threesomes with him.

These are really just my off-the-cuff thoughts fresh off the finale, so if there's something else you're excited to write for these characters, please do, I will love it!



The Next Prince: Ramil, Paytai

The angst of their situation was tailor-made for me. Lifelong best friend, lover, and whipping boy under your abusive father? With kinks that interact in complicated ways with the power and harm in your actual lives? Put it in my face! I'll take ten!

I do strongly prefer a kink-positive approach to their relationship... I love the angst of their kink activity triggering bad memories, but I don't want any kind of "once they're healthy they won't want to have kinky sex any more" interpretation.

I would love to get more of their post-canon resolution, as Paytai and Ramil work through the new boundaries Paytai has set. I'd also be thrilled with just a scene from earlier in their relationship: hurt/comfort after one of the whipping boy sessions, any smut you wanted to write, how they first came to realize they had feelings for each other... anything along those lines would be delightful.


Revenged Love: Guo Chengyu, Chi Cheng

I love the whole foursome and ship them every which way, but I requested Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu because they're the ones that make me feral. They love each other so much! They need and understand each other in a way no one else does! They were "enemies" while still being hopelessly entangled and drawn to each other! I'm obsessed with them.

I'm open to a wide range of interpretations of their relationship, from "friends who kiss" (canonically! blessed be) to "deeply in love in a way that they can't explain to themselves or anyone else." I love how they triangulate on other boys to deal with their feelings about each other... it's such a glorious mess.

Feel free to include Wu Suowei and Jiang Xiaoshuai as much as you want, I do love them all (and I think it's only a matter of time before they're all hooking up together.) I'd also be very interested in fic from the Wang Shuo days.


The First Shot: Jiang Xiaohai

Jiang Xiaohai, my beautiful perfect son. I love his self-control, the masks he wears, the genuine love he has for his family, his ruthlessness in service of what he's decided must be done. Anything at all about him would make me happy: character study, scenes from parts of his story we didn't get to see, an AU where he lives and sneaks away.

I ship him with both Zheng Bei and Liang Jiaju so if you want to write something shippy or smutty with either of them, absolutely have at it. We see so little of his relationship with Liang Jiaju but it seems to be deep and genuine on both sides, so I'm very interested in further exploration. And the angst of his relationship with Zheng Bei is just exquisite ... the way they both love each other so intensely and yet know (once the truth is revealed) that they cannot be anything but enemies.


Ball Boy Tactics: Yang Eunoh, Byeong Seungjin

I loved this show and I want to see these two get together! I desperately want to see Seungjin realize that his best friend is in love with him (!) has been for ages (!!) has not been that subtle about it (!!!) and that he loves him back (!!!!). I love how relaxed and patient Eunoh seems to be about it, like, "yes I know I am in love with a dumbass, he'll work it out eventually, probably."
